Part-Time Workers & Offsite Workers

The Jamboree Executive Committee has released the Part-Time Worker and Offsite Worker categories in OLEMS.

WHO CAN APPLY:

Only members of the following Contingents can apply:

  • ACT

  • NSW

  • QLD​

 

This may change if other Contingents agree to allow Part-time workers. Furthermore the Offsite Worker is only available to members of Scouts Qld.

The following applies for each category:​

​

  • Part-time Worker - Non-Residential:

    • Admin Fee: $20.00

    • Daily Fee: $30.00

    • Max Days: 6

    • Consecutive: No

 

  • Part-time Worker - Residential:

    • Admin Fee: $20.00

    • Daily Fee: $85.00

    • Max Days: 6 (5 nights)

    • Consecutive: Yes

 

  • Offsite Worker:

    • Admin Fee: $20.00

HOW TO APPLY:

To apply for either of the above categories the application must be in the “Initial” status, once they have submitted then the Attendance field is locked. If they wish to change to a Part-time or Offsite Worker they will need to contact Sarah Millard (mgr.applications@aj2025.com.au) to have their application reset to “Initial”. The Jamboree Attendance field is located on the Skills/Job tab:​​​​

​FURTHER INFORMATION:

All Part-Time and Offsite Workers are members of their Branch Contingent, though the Branch Contingent is not charging a Contingent Fee. Therefore they do not get any Contingent Merchandise or other Contingent supplied equipment and they are all Independent Travellers.

 

Residential Part-time Workers must supply their own tentage and will be accommodated in the Service Leaders SubCamp at the direction of the SubCamp Leader.

 

Part-time Workers do not get the Jamboree Participant Pack, though they will get:

  • An ID Tag

  • Meals

    • ​Residential: All meals

    • Non-Residential: One Meal

 

​Offsite Workers will only be issued with the ID Tag, they are responsible for everything else whilst they are at the Offsite Activity.
